Delhi Zoo has three white adult tigers and tigresses. Last year on August 24, a white tigress named Sita gave birth to twin cubs. Now he has a family of five members. White tigers are slightly different from normal tigers. Usually tigers are of red-yellow mixed color. There are black stripes on them. The color of the inner part of the chest and legs is white. Their children start playing and jumping in about six months.

White tiger-gaghin has some (light black) stripes on its body. Their cubs are bigger in size than normal tigers, but less agile. They mature in two to three years. Their biggest feature is that due to gene change in about 10,000 normal tigers naturally, white tigers are born, while they are easily born through hybridization in zoological parks.

Will walk in 1500 square feet

An area of ​​about 1500 square feet has been earmarked for both the cubs of Sita to roam around. Water sprinklers, water ponds, water pools have been made in their enclosure, in which they will have full arrangement to have fun.

Coolers are being installed in the animal enclosures: With the rise of summer, coolers are being installed in the animal enclosures. The water pond in the rest of the animal enclosures is being filled with water daily. The diet of food and drink has been reduced by about 20 percent, so that their digestion remains healthy. New trees are also being planted.
